A 21-year-old Burlington woman and a 22-year-old Brampton man have been charged in a human trafficking investigation. A third suspect, a 39-year-old man from Brampton, is wanted in the probe.
York Regional Police launched the investigation on Wednesday, March 7 after a victim came forward with information and looking for assistance. They’re now appealing for help locating Marvin Bryan, who is wanted for trafficking in persons, assault, withholding or destroying documents in relation to trafficking in persons, and fail to comply with recognizance.
Alexandra Manner, also known as ‘Lexy,’ has been charged with trafficking in persons, material benefit resulting from trafficking in persons, material benefit from sexual services, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of cannabis.
Deyshon Palmer, who also goes by ‘Wednesday,’ faces multiple charges, including trafficking in persons, material benefit resulting from trafficking in persons, material benefit from sexual services, procuring/exercising control, use of a firearm during the commission of an offence, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of cannabis.

Investigators are also willing to speak with anyone involved in the sex trade who may be looking for a way out or who may require assistance to escape dangerous circumstances.
