Two people have been charged following an April 30 stabbing in the Town of Georgina that left a man with a stab wound. One suspect turned himself into police on May 2 after a province-wide warrant was issued for his arrest and the other was arrested a day earlier.
Georgina resident Justin Fahey, 24, turned himself into York Regional Police and was charged with aggravated assault, weapons dangerous and two counts of breach of probation. Tamara McFarlane, 20, also of Georgina, was charged with aggravated assault and obstruct police officer. Both appeared in Newmarket court on May 2.
Police were called to a residence on Dalton Road regarding an injured person on April 30 at about 10:30 a.m. Emergency services arrived and took a man with a stab wound to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
