Capital campaign to build church in Vaughan

Father Peter Choi, Pastor of St. André Bessette Parish announces the launch of the 2nd Phase of the
Capital Campaign to raise funds to help build the newest Catholic church in Vaughan.

The Inaugural Phase of the Capital Campaign was a resounding success having exceeded expectations.
$2.35 million in pledges was raised!

The goal of the 2nd Phase of the Capital Campaign is to raise $2,000,000 in order to obtain the
approval from the Archdiocese to start the construction of the church on
October 17, 2020. The significance of this date is the 10th Anniversary of the Canonization of St.
André Bessette.

Situated on 5.5 acres, St. André Bessette Roman Catholic Church will be located at
1085 Major Mackenzie Drive, between Dufferin and Bathurst and will offer ample parking. The church will
offer seating for 850 parishioners and a Perpetual Adoration Chapel open 24 hours/day. With plans
for activities for seniors, stay-a-home parents and the youth, Bible Study, a Young Adult Program
and so much more, St. André Bessette Church will be a vibrant addition to the community.

The capital campaign organizers  appeal to your generosity in helping with your financial support and be a part of the
history. “St. André opened the door of God’s love, blessings and gift of healing to those around
him. It is now time to open a new door and build St. André Bessette Church in the community to
