A Candlelight Christmas returns to the museum

The museum’s historic buildings come to life with the traditions of Christmas past during this classic evening event.

The entire site will be bustling with various activities. You can look forward to stepping back in time as both the Log Cabin and the Victorian Farmhouse are being prepared for the holidays. Treats and traditions will be explored in both of these buildings.

Musical performances will be taking place in the Bogarttown Schoolhouse. These are sure to delight and will certainly get you into the holiday spirit.

The horse-drawn wagon rides around the property are always a hit. You can also head inside the main building where you can visit with a 19th century Santa and warm up with traditional cider and baking.

Experience all that this enchanting evening has to offer with the whole family. The museum gift shop will also be open. You might even find some unique gifts that will help you cross some names off your list.

A Candlelight Christmas takes place Dec. 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum. You can pre-register for the event by calling the museum or by using WS Play…online with Barcode: 8606.
