Spring is nearly here, and we’re thinking of growth, new beginnings, and sunshine. The library has lots to offer for you this month.
To start spring off with a healthy body, you should consider joining the Post-Winter Detox session presented by Nutri-Helpers on April 20th at 7 p.m..
Kids four to six can release their pent-up energy by attending Get Your Saddle On! It’s a program where they create their own pool noodle horse from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 21st. For children aged seven to nine, Makey Makey on April 28th from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. will let them play with conductivity and connections in a fun way using common objects like bananas or coins to control signals. Remember to register your children for these events if they plan to attend.
For the little ones, PebbleGo helps children learn about animals and science through curated information geared towards their interests and reading levels, while Tumblebooks offers storybooks, read-along books, as well as learning puzzles and games.
