The goal of Career Recharge – a series of free workshops, events and mentorship opportunities – is to help mid-career professionals cope with the reality of an evolving workplace and keep pace with the changes in technology. Those re-entering the workforce, upgrading their skills, changing careers or starting a new venture will need to be resourceful and resilient as they face an uncertain future of work.
“We want to prepare participants to develop their ideas from a whisper of a thought into full-fledged ventures using an entrepreneurial mindset, become that resource within their organizations or as independent businesses,” said Chris Dudley, Director of Entrepreneurship at Seneca.
The kick-off workshop focused on taking advantage of change. Other topics in the coming weeks and months include systems thinking, growth mindset and data-informed decision making. These free workshops will be offered every other Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Newnham Campus and will run until spring 2020.
