Celebrate diversity at Aurora’s Multicultural Festival

There is no flight or passport required for a trip around the world at the Aurora Multicultural Festival  September 7. Events take place at Aurora Town Park, 49 Wells Street, from 11 am to 4 pm on September 7.

Help celebrate the diversity in Aurora, embrace other cultures, and enjoy live performances, traditional dancing and dress from around the world. Samples of unique cuisine are sure to delight the foodies.

The festival includes performances from Brazilian, Afghan, Egyptian, Nicaraguan, Polish, Cameroon, Irish, Chinese dancers and more. Taste how different cultures from all over the world cook speciality lentil dishes and attend a cooking demonstration. Participate in cultural games and activities such as henna, jousting or road tennis.
New this year, you can learn about exotic animals from around the globe in the animal education display area provided by Hands on Exotics. This event is sponsored by Desjardins Insurance and TD Bank Group.
