Come out and be part of shaping your water’s future.
York Region provides water and wastewater services to its nine local cities and towns. To do this, the Region must continue to plan for water and wastewater services our communities need to develop and grow.
This fall, York Region invites you to Dive into Your Water System and discover what’s involved in getting water to you at their Water and Wastewater Master Plan Update Open Houses.
Provide valuable feedback and help shape strategies to meet current and future water needs to 2041 and beyond. Everyone is welcome, and kid-friendly activities and refreshments will be available.
Open Houses will be held on November 5, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex and on November 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Thornhill Community Centre.
Your feedback is an important part of this process. Can’t attend in person? Join the online Open House at york.ca/waterplan which is available until November 30.
Feedback received will support the strategies presented for community input at future Open Houses in 2020.
York Region’s Water and Wastewater Master Plan is a long-term plan for providing safe, cost-efficient and reliable water and wastewater services to York Region residents, businesses and communities. Contact Access York at 1-877-464-9675 or [email protected] if you have questions, would like to be added to the project update mailing list or require accommodation due to a disability to participate in these open houses.
