Whitchurch-Stouffville Fire and Emergency Services (WSFES) will host their eighth annual open house on Sept. 29. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fire station, located at 100 Weldon Road, Stouffville.
It’s an opportunity for friends and family to meet members of the local fire department, participate in fun games, win prizes and learn important fire safety information. This year, a live burn demonstration will be featured to promote the installation of residential sprinklers. As well, fire department and York Regional Police personnel will compete in a friendly, fire-truck pull event.
