Parkview Home Long-Term Care is holding a Walk for Parkview fundraiser on June 4 to raise funds to cover a trellis roof at the Home entrance. The goal is to protect the residents from inclement weather when being transported to and from the building.

Family members, friends, staff and community supporters will walk together in support of this worthy cause. Health Minister Jane Philpott will also be joining the walk.

Parkview Services for Seniors has been serving the Stouffville community since 1965. It includes a long-term care home on Weldon Road across from the fire station, and apartments and cluster homes adjoining on Ninth Line, south of Main Street.

Perhaps you know someone at Parkview now or someone that might need the services in the future. Mark your calendar for June 4 and getting ready to walk in support of a great cause.

The walk starts at 1pm at the Parkview gazebo.
