Man charged, second suspect sought in Vaughan stabbing

An 18-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing outside a mall in Vaughan and a second suspect is sought.

The victim, a 22-year-old man, suffered stab wounds and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, York Regional Police report.

A group had been fighting outside an entrance on the west side of a mall on Promenade Circle on Thursday, Nov. 8. Samuel Yzraiib, 18, of no fixed address, was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon and breach of probation. He’s scheduled to appear in court in Newmarket.

A second suspect, pictured here, is described as a black male, aged 20 to 30 years. He’s about five feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build and black hair and beard. He was wearing a black and grey jacket and black and grey pants.
