Markham Public Library staff and patrons showed their support and raised awareness of bullying for Pink Shirt Day on February 26.
The first 25 people proudly wearing PINK who entered an MPL branch on Pink Shirt Day were presented with a gift of appreciation.
Markham Public Library branches also hosted a #MarkhamWearsPink Pink Shirt Day photobooth for people to take a selfie, or group shot with the help of a staff member, and share on their own social media using the hashtag #MarkhamWearsPink.
Bullying is a major problem in our schools, workplaces, homes, and over the internet.
Let’s help stand up against bullying!
