Surveillance video of stabbing suspect released

A 21-year-old man was stabbed outside a Vaughan nightclub on Sunday, Dec. 23 and police remain on the hunt for the suspect.

The victim told York Regional Police he had been stabbed in the parking lot of a nightclub on Interchange Way after getting into an argument with a male suspect and a group of his friends.

The argument became physical and the suspect and his friends were kicked out of the club by security. The suspect reportedly waited for the victim in the parking lot and approached and stabbed him before talking off in a white Mazda.

Friends rushed the victim a Toronto hospital, where he received treatment and was released. They then went to #4 District to report the incident. While there, the victim went into medical distress and was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect is described as black with a medium build and short black hair. He was wearing a light-coloured shirt. He fled in a white Mazda with tinted windows and damage to one of the sides. Video surveillance footage of the suspect can be found at
