Police seek suspects in Vaughan convenience story robbery

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance in identifying four
suspects following a robbery at a convenience store in the City of Vaughan.

On Sunday, April 21, 2019, at approximately 8:45 p.m., York Regional Police were called to a
convenience store on Islington Avenue, north of Highway 7, for a report of a robbery. Four male
suspects entered the store wearing masks and stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes. The suspects
fled in a black, older-model Honda Accord.

The suspects were described as male, Black, in their early 20s, wearing black masks and gloves and
armed with knives.

No one was injured during the incident.

updating video surveillance equipment. Quality images help to identify suspects, can aid in arrests
