Every Saturday night, the Sounds of Summer music series comes alive at downtown Markham from July 21 through to Sept. 1. Grab your friends and get ready to indulge, savour, and dance. The series features three streams of free, live-music programming: Music Hot Spots at 9 (nine) restaurants, an eclectic mix of live artists from DJs to bands; DJ [email protected] the Carousel from 8 p.m. till midnight on Aug. 25, an open-air dance floor with DJ Deltoro and T. Dot Bangerz hip-hop brass band; and the DTM Music Festival running Aug. 4, 11, 25 and Sept. 1, featuring a live-music stage at the Origin Plaza from 6-11 p.m.
