Amici Spa is hosting their annual gala benefiting Markham Stouffville Hospital on February 29. So turn up the Gold and Glitz – join CTV News anchor Merella Fernandez and other partygoers to raise funds to fight breast cancer.
Andrew DiMartino, owner of Amici Spa, has been holding their gala every winter for the past 13 years.
“We have always funded breast cancer,” explains DiMartino. “We were originally inspired to host the gala because we had family and clients going through breast cancer treatment. We hope to raise more funds than last year, around $10,000. We also want to create more awareness and help put an end to breast cancer in our lifetime.”
“We have built a good partnership with Markham Stouffville Hospital,” continues DiMartino. “Our gala is always well advertised at the hospital and they have a great support system.”
This year, Amici Spa decided to have a golden age, glitz and glamour theme for their gala at The Terrace Banquet Centre. So dress with sequins, glitz, and gold!
The gala will feature antipasto stations, dinner, an open deluxe bar, silent auction, gift bags, Fernandez as MC, and live entertainment. They will have a samba dance group performing, as well as a DJ to get you moving.
