Summer curbside service at the library

Markham Public Library gets ready to offer contactless curbside pick-up services at select stand-alone branches, starting July 6.

Individuals who have items on hold that are available for pick-up from before the COVID-19 closure will receive a library notice. They will then be able to arrange a contactless curbside pick-up by appointment through Ask MPL or by calling 905.513.7977.

Hours are from Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM at:
• Markham Village Library
• Thornhill Village Library
• Unionville Library

Individuals will have two weeks to pick up their hold items. Items can be borrowed for six weeks before contactless curbside return.

New holds will be accepted starting on July 15. Please note that new holds can only be placed on materials available at each of the three pick-up locations.

Markham Public Library is currently not able to transfer items between branches.
