It seems like every holiday season gets busier and goes by faster, leaving us wondering in January – what just happened and where did all my money go? Sometimes it’s hard to make time for the thing that really counts: making memories. Gather with friends and family at 19 on the Park and do just that.

The fourth annual SnowBall Gala, on Dec. 8, is an annual event in support of 19 on the Park programming. This year’s theme, the Roaring 20s, promises to be an evening full of performances that are influenced by that golden era. Christina Cooks Catering is providing a full three-course meal complete with 1920s infusions and a dessert.

Or, how about a holiday concert that takes you to Kentucky with sounds of bluegrass, country and gospel inspirations? On Dec. 15, Deck the Halls, a live-music show, features The Dirty Dishes: three ladies with impossible harmonies and musical talent presented with witty banter and a killer 1950s charm that makes you love them instantly.

For a timeless event, Motus O Dance theatre once again presents the classic tale of A Christmas Carol on Dec. 22. Now in its 11th year, the show uses dance, video and speech to tell the tale of Scrooge as he meets each of his ghosts and finds the true meaning of Christmas. This show is perfect for all ages and sells out every year.
