Victims sought in voyeurism investigation

Police are urging victims to come forward in connection with a voyeurism investigation related to the arrest of a 33-year-old man who operated an event-planning business in Vaughan.

York Regional Police launched an investigation in September 2018 after learning about a man believed to be sharing video taken of sexual encounters with women who didn’t appear to know they were being filmed.

Investigators executed a search warrant at the accused’s business, Entourage Entertainment at 29-4370 Steeles Ave. W., and located multiples disks and thumb drives of video taken inside the business of sexual encounters. One of the victims was identified and confirmed she wasn’t aware she was being filmed or that the film had been shared online.

Since the accused’s arrest on Sept. 18, investigators have been attempting to identify and locate additional people shown in the videos to determine if they have been a victim of a crime. Investigators have exhausted all leads and are appealing for anyone who may have been a victim or anyone with information to please come forward.

Nicola Nardella of Toronto was charged with voyeurism and will appear in provincial court in Newmarket on January 24. Anyone with information is asked to contact the #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7441, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-tips, or leave an anonymous tip online at www.1800222tips.com.
